Hurricane Isaac hit our area hard... I was already struggling to pay the rent and other expenses. My losses were minimal compared to others, but waters from the hurricane completely flooded my aunt's house. She and her family will be living with me for quite some time while her home is restored. We don't know when the restoration process will begin. I'm sure she will help with expenses when she can, but for now, we're just trying to stop our heads from spinning. The unexpected expenses from having to evacuate and initial expenses with recovering have depleted my funds. I have been in a financial struggle for quite some time. My rent is late, but my landlord has been great, but I need to pay him. My light bill is due and will be disconnected any day now. I appreciate any help you can provide to me. Blessings.
